@notblox1 congrats on the promotion. Just don't repeat what I did after getting promoted to the division 1. After zero losses in Division 2 in the first round I got promoted. But winning in Division 1 is not that easy as it was in Division 2. I'm barely holding around the middle of the table to avoid getting relegated.
That is a problem if your club doesn't grow like it should. My team is following the plan perfectly. Season 1 - promotion from amateur Div 3 to Div 2
Season 2 - consolidate and invest in new players
Season 3 - promotion to Div 1
Season 4 - again consolidation and hopefully mid table position
Season 5 - attacking the top positions in Div 1
Season 6 - total dominance and winning all BSFL competitions
Season 7 - Retiremnet while on the top
You have to take a break to maintain a sustainable growth
Well if that's your plan, then my team is following it alolmost to the letter. The only difference is that I started in Division 2 so my team took their time to accommodate to division 1 for two season around the middle of the table. This season is pretty wild since the middle of the division 1 table is so tight and my recent fu*k up with not submitting costed me a lot.
Now I have to make some changes and try to climb up the division 1 in the next season. Maybe not fight for the title, but at least to stay in the top.glf of the table.
