This is a dark day in bustabit history.

The reputation of one of the world's best gambling sites has been irrevocably tarnished.

Under Daniel's rule, bustabit garnered hundreds of millions in volume, with individual bets of over $400,000 being placed, simply because he kept intact the trust of the platform, paid out users on time, was fair in his dealings, and never defrauded anyone.

The same cannot be said about Leo, the new owner of bustabit. In many ways, he is the opposite of Daniel. He believes in censorship - which means what made bustabit chat great, its freedom, will likely be snatched away. More importantly, he does not believe in our shared values of provably fair, fair representation, and honest dealings. On his other site, Moneypot, there's a highly misleading house edge slider designed to deceive players. Leo constantly insists that Moneypot is provably fair, when it's not, since on Moneypot the house can undetectably modify rolls by decreasing the bankroll or betting. True provably fair means all house manipulation can be detected. And he is also provably incompenent, given that he doesn't know how to do a seeding event properly and lacks the technical prowess necessary to run an operation of this scale.

Under Leo's rule, bustabit is almost guaranteed to no longer be a free place to chat. Its trust, which made it one of the best places to invest Bitcoins, is now ruined, and the counterparty risk has increased massively as a stranger has to be trusted, both with the bankroll and to not cheat secretly by looking at the hashes. We have no history on this person and there are no real guarantees. And of course, the chances of some sort of hack or vulnerability have increased drastically as Leo is not serious about the technicals (he doesn't even know what provably fair really means, and can't do a seeding event) compared to Daniel or Ryan.

RIP bustabit, 2014-2024. You will be dearly missed.
