I think investing in altcoins is very risky for my financial health. I am not so interested in investing in altcoins now or at halving time, i prefer to buy and sell immediately in a short time, because i understand that investment is long-term.
All the investments have their own risks, no investment with no risk. It depends on your way to deal with the risk. If you understand how to manage the risk, you will invest with a quite secure way. Altcoins is very risky, but it won't be very risky if you choose the top altcoins. People who are afraid about the high risk on altcoins, they can choose most reputable altcoins such as ETH, BNB, ADA, or other top 10 altcoins.
If you prefer to hold a short time, you are likely to fit with trading. It is okay if you prefer to trade altcoins, you can invest in Bitcoin. I also do this, I allocate bigger funds for a long term holding on Bitcoin. Meanwhile for altcoins, I prefer to choose the top altcoins and I hold them mostly for few months or 1 year.
