I always have the same reaction whenever I come across an advertisement for gambling on social media. I believe that it is not an appropriate platform to promote gambling, as many young children are exposed to social media influencers and may be negatively influenced by these ads. It's acceptable if the target audience is strictly adults, but it has become a way for children to gain knowledge about gambling.
Gambling advertising on social media in my country is absolutely absurd. Many promised Maxwin with the words "Maxwin Guarantee". I saw ads for local online casino gambling, but I wasn't interested. Even some streamers promote how easy it is to win. because the words "guarantee" and "easy to big win" that they gave seemed like things that didn't make sense to me. However, because of the many cases of fake casinos in this country, I chose to look for casinos on this forum ads rather than local online casinos that I found on social media ads.
This happens not only with casinos, if you really take the time to listen to any ad you can see online or in TV, I am sure you will find a great deal of statements that are exaggerations or outright lies, however due to the way the laws are structured, businesses can get away with those lies, so we need to be very careful with anything we read online regarding a specific product, since in order to gain a dollar or two there are many business owners willing to do anything so they can take away your money.
