It has always been the nature of scammers and hackers to take advantage of the ignorance of novice and also the inception of a new tech to do their dirty job. This has been the norms of scammers to always have their ways where ever they are but being self conscious and alert will help you better. Nobody can help you save your assets than you. So therefore, it is pertinent that one avoids clicking links they have knowledge about and linking of accounts and wallets to websites because doing such alone means you granting them access to your account or wallets for them to do whatever they wish to do.
The annoying part of it all is that they (scammers and hackers) can't be wiped out just like that, scammers and hackers are like a virus that has no cure, you get them off a certain area and you'd see them building another camp to get something out from someone.
In as much as we try to save ourselves from them we should accept the fact that they're part of our lives, we protect and hide things they're after but still they find a way to dig it out anyway.
We all are aware of the way harmful links are being shared but the curiosity in some of us won't let us be, sometimes we're are the cause of our problem and we cry out loud everyday. And I don't think there's a better way to be over protective of our assets and things they're after, is too hard to stop these set of people, to me I'd say we have to live with it but still be 100% careful.
