Now, back to the new late submission penalty rules - they seem a little grave to me, as I believe we are still in the early stages of implementing anything like this.
Does this means that if one misses two GWs, he loses 8 points and -50%? This might potentially kill motivation. Imo
Nope, not submitting still carries the same penalties - 3-0 for the opponent and -1 total point.
The additional penalty is if you win 5mbtc at the end of the season, if you failed to submit on 1 occasion you win 4mBTC and 1mbtc gets deducted and if you fail to submit 2 times you win 2,5 mbtc and 2,5 mbtc get deducted.
Okay, I'm not opposed to implementing anything like this, but I don't believe the reward has risen to the point where one-time penalties result in massive 1mBtc losses. What about those who end the season with merely a free bet position? Are you going to auto-deduct from his SB account?
This will only make sense if the deducted funds are distributed to the clubs whose opponents did not show up as compensation for home fans and travel expenses.
If my opponent should fail to show up I get 3 points and 1mBtc from them- my new model for the new rules.
