Not all altcoins is a actually a scain, many has become very rich overnight by invest in altcoin, on to the fact that to what ever that has advantage also have disadvantage, many of the the altcoins doesn't have a real life application purpose they are created to gain certain level of publicity and there after  they become dump expecially when demand is zero, I don't like altcoin that much but any one venturing in altcoin should as well consider having btc in his portfolio.
