Actually, Both Atletico Madrid and Inter did great job, but in this case, Inter did much better in attacking. they are more offensive although they actually also faced some difficulties during the match.
Atletico Madrid didn't shot a single shot towards the net according to these stats which is so bad if we add also to it a reduced number of serious attempts to score. This defeat wasn't good for sure but taking only one goal away give them an opportunity to try to win once playing in their home.
For me, PSV Eindhoven 1 - 1 Borussia Dortmund match was more interesting but unfortunately Dortmund couldn't keep their positive result.
I think these both games will be concluded in the second leg. I mean even a single victory isn't enough to be confident that team will pass..
Atletico Madrid's performance against Inter Milan was not that good yesterday. Atletico Madrid managed to have seven attempts with no shot on target, which even made Inter Milan's goalkeeper more relaxed. If Inter Milan can stop Atletico Madrid from scoring in their return match, I think Inter Milan will qualify for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
How can you say that? did you mean play away is an easy task? come one my friend. Atletico madrid was playing away and it was being so far from what i have expected. I thought atletico madrid could lost with more than three goals but it's not happening. It proves that if atletico madrid was capable enough to handling the club to fully defensive against intermilan.
Intermilan is the strongest club and this is my main reason to say that if atletico madrid was lucky enough to have only conceded 1 goal against intermilan. I could be more than it and this is also giving atletico madrid more advantage rather than conceded a lot of goals.
Intermilan could be scored as manmy goals as possible but i must admit that both of clubs have very strong defensive lines. This is why intermilan was also feeling so difficult to scored more goals against atletico madrid. I was not even expecting that atletico madrid lost with narrow score agianst intermilan
It was obviously a miracle for atletico madrid caused by this club is able performing even better than last season. The chance owned by atletico madrid to go to the next round is big enough.
