When a coin is suspended from an exchange it means it can't be withdrawn or deposited on the exchange where it is suspended, but trading, or conversion of existing coins on the exchange is still possible considering the fact they also said to stop or restrict that. It does not take long for finance to release a suspension, because if they are suspending some coin then that might be due to some technical problems they might be fixing on, and when that problem is fixed, the suspension can be lifted as well.

But some coins might be suspended permanently as well, time is given by all exchanges and they are then scheduled to that time table means they have to suspend the coin at the exact same time.
