Saving money is crucial for facing future challenges, like a downturn in the economy or unexpected emergencies. It's not just about surviving tough economic times; it's also about being prepared for any unforeseen problems that might arise. There are countless unforeseen challenges that could come our way, and even without a bad economy, if we haven't set aside funds for these emergencies, we could find ourselves in dire situations when they occur. Therefore, it's essential to prioritize saving money to ensure we have a safety net to fall back on during times of need, providing us with stability and peace of mind for whatever the future holds.

It is crucial to have multiple sources of income, and by utilizing these opportunities, anyone can use them to their advantage when battling a weak economy. Developing talents that will always lead to favorable possibilities is the simplest method to generate a different kind of income. Be amiable; it can also lead to opportunities, particularly if you possess acquired abilities. One's business may flow as a result of their increased connections made through these relationships with others.
A bad economy would normally mean that the local fiat at the time has lost some value or it is trading at a loss on the foreign exchange, hence why it becomes bad because marketers wouldn't want to make losses while shipping in their products, thus they increase prices and where there's no support for subsidized price, it becomes hell of a survival for those who literally earn in the local fiat and earn lesser than the required standard minimum wage.

Besides saving and budgeting, I think an individual should explore not just other sources of income, but sources wherebeit they can earn in a foreign currency, like in dollar or in Euro or in cryptocurrency.

Also, a disciplined plan to manage what one already has inorder not to lose much will ensure that with the right knowledge, one can gather enough resources to launch other projects or diversify into other portfolios for investment, thus reducing the brunt or hardship brought about by the tide of any bad economy.
