Chelsea will host Tottenham in the 26th week of the Premier League. They're not as sharp as razor like before. Haaland really lost most of his potential after his injury. From the record, they only beat Sheffield united 1:0 from home which is a really poor performance from the city we all used to know that fills the net with plenty goals. They're down to struggling for a single goal in the last two matches.
I don't think there was anything such as Brentford were able to read Manchester City's game plan. 
Because Manchester City were having no problem when it comes to creating so many goal opportunities for themselves.
The main problem in that game was Brentford goalkeeper Flekken. If it weren't for his very critical saves Brentford were probably going to be demolished by Manchester City. Flekken made 10 saves I mean, this is just insane.
Besides Guardiola has been using this system for many years and Manchester City still have been able to become champions. Even if the teams are used to playing against their system it isn't easy to stop them.
Actually fighting Brentford with only 2 goals for more than 90 minutes is not very ethical for Man City. Because based on the difference in strength many opportunities are wasted.
