It is not something wrong to see gambling as a way of making money as long as we are responsible for it.
There are many professional gamblers (mostly poker players and sports bettors) in this world who use gambling as a way of making money and they can be said as succesful gamblers.
I would prefer to say, it is fine to take gambling as a way of making money but it should be done with fun and responsibility.
