I agree that we should all bear responsibility for  everything we do
Gambling is no exception
of course one can also enjoy gambling and not see it as something that deprives them of freedom.

Yeah, at the end of the day many people just want to have fun really, and if you remove their way of having fun then I don't think that's a great society to be in.

In the end everyone wants to be a happy part of society and many times that can happen without so much interaction with others.

that's true
sometimes we want to be around other people and sometimes it's ok to be alone too in front of the computer
there's also the level of introversion and extroversion that will vary a lot from person to person

it's interesting
Yes, and it truly depends on how we're feeling—whether we want to gamble in public or alone at times. In terms of myself, there were moments when I wanted to have more outgoing social skills and enjoy the company of others to enhance my experience. We could rejoice in our victories together as well as share our sorrows when we lost. I feel like I can build connections with them and be able to know their strategy, and they can also give me some advice.
However, there are moments when I would much rather gamble in front of my computer than interact with people. I feel like I can focus on the game without interruption and that I can avoid pressure from other players or friends. But that was just my viewpoint, and everyone has a different idea of how they gamble.
