Just as Rasmus Højlund started looking better and was getting goals in his bag, he's now picked up a muscle injury and will be out of the team for at least 2-3 weeks. Definitly a blow for Manchester United as Højlund was looking like the best player in the United shirt and got the much necessary goals for them.
This will be disappointing news for Manchester United and the entire team; he has scored in a number of recent matches, capturing the attention of the football community. Players like him, who are critical to the team's success, should not be overworked and should receive plenty of rest when necessary. The body has a point at which it will no longer be able to withstand pressure. I wish him a speedy recovery and a return to the pitch because they desperately need him in that forward position to convert the majority of their opportunities into goals.
Ten Hag will automatically rotate players on the front lines if Hojlund is absent in the next two or three weeks. One of the important matches that requires his presence in Ten Hag lineup is against Man City. Since his arrival from Atalanta, Hojlund now seems to be getting closer and click with the other United players, his adaptation process seems to have been slow in the first half of the season.
Hojlund absence required Ten Hag to experiment, it is possible that Rashford or Martial will be plotted as player number 9. United fans are certainly very disappointed with the news of Hojlund injury, because United currently needs his services to secure points so they can penetrate the top four. There is a possibility that Hojulund will recover more quickly, but currently Ten Hag must look for alternative solutions.
So far Hojlund has scored 13 goals and 2 assists in all the competitions he has participated in, even though he is not yet very productive, Hojlund still has the opportunity to increase his number of goals in the future. If he recovers according to predictions, there is a possibility that Hojlund will play more than 10 matches before the season ends.
