It's true, gambling that is done of course must be done carefully, don't let us gamble carelessly which can make us lose self-control and cause big losses. It is true that you say there is no certainty of winning, even in my opinion there is no certainty of winning, even though we gamble carefully it does not rule out the possibility that we can lose, the defeat will still occur, but with us who gamble carefully we can limit ourselves from gambling.
It's a good idea to think of gambling as entertainment to fill your spare time or to relieve boredom, because if with the aim of pursuing victory, of course that's not true, which can trigger our emotions to peak which leads to losses. Playing gambling must have carefully because if you can't, you will face much losses that you don't want to see. But many gamblers can't stop themselves from playing gambling game after getting losing streak. They are trigger to continue playing gambling using more money but they end up by losing much money. Actually, after they experiencing a losing streak, they can realize the situation and must stop gambling. It's better they leave the casino rather than losing more.
That will not worth to do because they can't use gambling as it was and only want to get winning. They should already know that it will not work because gambling is not a place to make money but only a place to play many games using money. That's why we need to learn self-control so we don't get deeper in the gambling like the other gamblers.
Well, I think the thing is, it's all about luck, luck and nothing else but luck, I have come across gamblers who lost everything, then again, made another deposit and continued gambling, and they ended up winning back all the money they previously lost, and even ended that gambling session with a good profit.
In gambling, it's important for us to know that, loses don't continue and last for ever, and that a second or minute is capable of turning what was initially a long losing streak to a life changing wins, I guess this is what keeps those gamblers who know this; going, for they believe that at any point in time, things could turn around for their good, and fortunately, it does most times turn for some gamblers, but unfortunately for some, it ends as a continues loss.
What I personally have stopped doing is blame gamblers for not quitting when they were losing and losing and losing, for if the situation was the other way round, like they lost but didn't give up, and eventually won, I would call them heros for not giving up, why them should I blame the one who did exactly the same thing (not giving up) but only ended up in more loses because luck wasn't on his side?
