I think we will be favourites but anything can happen and it’s been proven many times that Chelsea can put a big performance in when they feel like it.
I think it’ll be closer than many expect. My prediction is Liverpool to win in extra time.
Chelsea always perform well against higher teams but I believe they will not be consistent in a row but this time in the EFL final they have motivation because this title is the only one that can be won and they can force Liverpool to lose but my own hunch is unlikely.
What is clear is that Liverpool will remain the favorite, however I will still doubt Chelsea will win this trophy, I will bet on Liverpool's victory, this could be sacred if Klopp is able to win also this trophy and the last trophy is of course the EPL.
Of course, this is an ideal final match and is eagerly awaited by EPL fans. If you look at the condition of the two teams, I think this is unfair for Liverpool because several of their players are injured and are certain to miss this final match, and they are already in good form and are at the top of the EPL league standings. Meanwhile, Chelsea is in good spirits after several wins and a draw against Man City, which is certainly a good asset to face Liverpool.
But for me Liverpool are big favorites in the final. The reason is that Pochettino was not good in the final and Chelsea's back line would not be able to match Liverpool's speed and energy. Even with all the injuries, I thought Harvey Elliott, Luis Diaz and Gakpo played outstanding today and all scored goals.
