Your mail provider might still consider them spam and not deliver them.
I use a local mail client as well and there are still mails that are in the spam folder when I check my mail providers web interface. I dont get those mail when I dont check their HP. Probably thats deliberate to show me their ads..
sure, but I disabled any filter of the provider in the webinterface.
