Villarreal are trying to be more powerful in away matches and want to continue their record of winning, they did what they did to Barcelona defeated them in their home, and they are doing the same thing to Real Sociedad, seeing this game like this didn't surprise me because a weak team destroyed a popular and strong teams like Barcelona, definitely their is slight improvement and also have a good record in the last 5 matches, right now nothing can be concluded because the game is still on, right now the goal are 1-2, and they were given 6 minutes extra time hope nothing change after the game, but it's have changed to favour Villarreal by adding one again by A. Sorloth at 95 minutes, making it 1-3.
Not all teams that dominate a match are able to win that match. This was experienced by Real Sociedad today where they really dominated the game with a high percentage of ball possession, total number of shots, shots on goal compared to Villarreal. This was clearly unexpected because Villarreal was very lucky with all their chances, so Real Sociedad really had to regret it.
This represents the difference between the old clubs compared to the new professionals, as the Villarreal team is able to take advantage of the few opportunities it gets, preserving its energy throughout the match in order to invest in those opportunities.
