Arsenal were still good against Porto it's just that they did not win the game, their performance was not enough. It is not something new, sometimes the better teams in a game is not always the team that wins the game. Arsenal just have to not let that defeat affect the other games they have by spoiling their confidence.
Manchester United striker Hojlund who was already making news and building confidence in the league will have to rest some weeks like two or three. It is a blow for Manchester United because they are on the charge to secure champions league qualification, for a player like Hojlund who has scored in consecutive games recently, having him not fit is a hope killer.
Arsenal were very good in the match, they played very well but they lack experienced players and as a result of that Porto used their Champions League experience and home advantage to win the game because Arsenal were so relaxed at the end. This is not the end of it because I am very sure that Arsenal can win them in the second leg.
Playing at emirate stadium will be boosting the mentality from arsenal. The only scary result if arsenal will get draw against porto. Im sure that if porto will be trynig so hard to keep the momentum. This is making the situation even better than before. Im feeling so damn good with the performance from arsenal in EPL.
I have no problem with it but the result in UCL was quite disappointed me caused by it was losing against porto by conceded a goal at the end of game. Arsenal is still having the biggest chance to win the second leg. Porto needs to prevent arsenal to score more than two goals.
From my perspective, it is crucial for Arsenal to improve their performance in comparison to the previous season. things are going even harder for this club after it was not able getting draw in the first leg. It must noted that if arsenal must able to perform evne better compared to the last season.
Porto needs to play defensively in preventing arsenal to get into the next round. Porto will be doing it very hard. I hope that everything is going fine this time. The level of ambition Arteta possesses this season is remarkable, as the club is going above and beyond to secure victory in the competition and raise the bar even higher.
