The reason why some people are saying that Arsenal is not part of the Premier League title race is because of what Arsenal did last season by allowing Manchester City to overtake them and win the Premier League title. But they forget that if Liverpool draws or loses any match, Manchester City or Arsenal will lead the Premier League table.
Arsenal have been performing well, but I hope what happened to Arsenal last season won’t repeat itself this season. That’s just what everyone is scared of. That’s why most people don’t really have confidence in Arsenal's ability to win the league, even though they are performing well currently. Everyone thought Arsenal was going to win the Premier League last season until they started performing poorly, and Manchester City took over the first position from them.
But we are in another season, and we shouldn’t use Arsenal's performance last season to conclude they won’t be winning the Premier League this season. Actually, if I am ranking the clubs that I think will win the Premier League this season, then I will be ranking Liverpool and Manchester City ahead of Arsenal, but Arsenal can still surprise us.
Arsenal has been amazing this season, and that is one of the reasons I see them as Premier League title contenders. I know Arsenal is not worth trusting because they can disappoint at times, but I believe if Arsenal should top the Premier League table now, they might win the league title because they have gained experience and will not want to repeat what happened to them in the Premier League last season.
