I don't see any business oriented ideal in this Friend because $1,000 ls good enough for a start of lucrative businesses.
Amazing some people can build a business for $1000 while some people spend this money for their lunch and dinner... If $1000 is a life changing money for you then you shouldn't be gambling with that money. I don't know what kind of a business can you start with $1000 but if you really think it is lucrative then you should do it right away. You can buy a laptop and start your own software engineering company maybe?
What is the ROI of that business you start for $1000 anyway? Can it make $1000 a year? If you invest in stocks it will only return $50-100 dividends annually...
