If I had to choose, I'd probably go for the 5.00 CGPA. Education seems like the safer bet for long-term success.
Maybe you will have to ask me again. Education is good but not to be compared to 5 Bitcoin. You need to think well again before you think of the best option. Having a 5 CGPA does not guarantee you any success and you will have to strive after school to look for job so that you can fit in to the society. Investment is what make us rich, and to get knowledge we can always read books so that we can be informed. With such kind of amount, for someone that do not go into school the person will have enough funds to go to school and acquire such degree. You don't have to get 5.00 CGPA as a student. 5 BTC does not also give anyone success, if a career path is the discussion then obviously, the 5.00CGPA outweighs the 5 BTC but people do not live on a career path alone. A ranked student or even a dropout can outperform the one with a 5.00 CGPA if the point of discussion is about skill application and the person with the money is the one who has the say over things especially if he owns the company, it does not matter if he is a 5.0 CGPA or a drop-out person.
I may support the idea of getting the 5 BTC and going back to school again if a person is too attached to getting a 5.00 CGPA, but if I am the one that will receive the 5 BTC, I'd rather spend my time learning entrepreneurial, or business management since the goal this time is to be the owner of a company and not just some employee. I won't mind not getting 5.0 CGPA, after all with the amount in hand, I can have the luxury of setting up a company and hiring those people with 5.0 CGPA.
