Looking at Liverpool lineup, I never gave them a chance. I am disappointed in Chelsea, they couldn’t get a win against these youngsters Klopp brought on. I wonder how they would have fared if Liverpool had their main midfielders present today. I don’t think the game would have went into extra time.
Chelsea has constantly being a disappointment to fans this season irrespective of how minor the calibre of players they play against they still make room for disappointment. Just like other games before now Chelsea missed a lot of goal chances and in football chances are what you use to convert goals to your side to win a game but that's one thing lacking among Chelsea attackers which is why they keep losing even games they should win. A lack of clinical finishers that are hungry for goals is Chelsea's main problem. Going by history, sequentially this is the 6th final the Blues would be losing at Wembley. Congratulations to Liverpool winner carabao cup 23/24.[/quote]
Chelsea have tried to score goals, but you are right, they still have a lot of shortcomings in terms of finishing. Pochettino really needs a great striker in his squad to increase the probability of goals in each of their matches, but so far Pochettino doesn't have that option.
The match was fierce because both teams both performed impressively. I almost thought the winner would be decided after the penalty, but Liverpool were really lucky because Van Djik was able to convert his chance into a goal. This is a lovely gift for Jurgen Klopp who has declared his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, so he should have fun with this.
