Because of they think it is not important makes them late to realize that the addiction become bigger and can't control it. If they still not telling to other people, the help will be too late and it's hard to heal them while they are denied of what happen to them. When someone feels getting lose money from gambling too many times, they must talk to other people and ask for the advice. It will help them to start reducing their gambling activity because they realize that they used too much money to playing gambling. They should introspect themselves to search what has changed so they can try to fix it before it's too late.

Yes, that's what it would be like for someone who is addicted to gambling. They will definitely ignore important things to prevent them from gambling excessively, but they actually don't care because they feel their behavior is correct.
Yes, if we can tell other people and other people to pay attention by giving us advice, we should accept it because maybe with this advice we will not gamble carelessly.


That kind of impression that's why most of those gamblers doesn't like to reveal their participation and they don't want to talk about it,  unless you are also a gambler who can relate with them, they might have that interest to open up with you with how they treat their habits
