In this group a person shared a story of how a married reached out to her for medical assistance to support his wife terminal illness treatment. Instead of providing his wife's account details as requested, he offered his own. Concerned that the funds might be misused, particularly for gambling, the person offering assistance insisted on the wife's account details. However, the conversation ended there, with no further response from the man.

he stranger offering aid had no prior acquaintance with the husband. Why then was there apprehension that the funds might fuel gambling rather than support the wife's medical needs?

This short story reflects the current reality we live in.

Who knows, she might be familiar with such tactics gamblers used in begging money from her and it could be that another person has made her not to trust people again that beg money especially people that beg for money with a pity situation. I think the woman has the right to send the money through any means, let's even say that the man really need the money to take care of his wife, what's the big deal in sending money to the wife accounts, need moments aren't meant for solution.

This addictions tactics to get money from people will a lot of chances for people that need help, if these pattern continues, a time will come when ordinary people will need help from a fellow women, perhaps money to eat but they will assume they are fellow gamblers who need money to gamble even though they provide their wife account for money to be sent.
