If this is true, then it is a rather strange choice for a player who initially did not want to leave Napoli until he gained more experience after the last bright season. Even though PSG is now building a normal team (without retired stars), Ligue 1 is not competitive and in general a league where you can show yourself or grow. Moving to Ligue 1 from Serie A is a relegation/downshift.
HE wants to leave.
The Napoli's president already said that he will leave in the summer.
The fact that now he wants to leave is obvious, especially after that scandal when, due to SMM management, he began to blame the entire club for unfair treatment of himself. But a year ago the situation was different and Osimhen had a plan to “continue to play in Napoli, gain a foothold as a top striker and then choose a top club to leave.” The plan was really worthy (and not like other young players who immediately try to get into a top club, and then either sit on the bench or go on loan), but he could not foresee that Napoli would fail like that.
Now Osimhen obviously needs to leave, but PSG is not the best choice.
I think PSG could be a good choice, but I think the Premier League or La Liga, where he can show himself better, would be the best options for him. Even if it is Chelsea, I think he can show himself in the Premier League. He is physically strong, fast and has football intelligence and talent that can knock players out of the game. He is one of the few African actors I have enjoyed watching lately. The last time I enjoyed watching Salah was like this. I hope we can watch him in the EPL.
