Even though they didn't score many goals, Girona was able to lead the match. Currently, Girona is playing against Rayo Valleccano with a score of 1 - 0. It is still quite risky for the club even though they are temporarily leading by 1 goal. However, Rayo can also make different counter attacks effective. So here, Girona still has to remain alert to Rayo's various attacks.

Oh yes, just now, Rayo player Chavarria received a red card. And this gives Girona an advantage once again,
The match is over, and Girona was able to win the match with three goals to nothing. Rayo player Pep Chavaria completed two fouls in ten minutes, and each of the foul was a yellow card offense, which made the referee to give him a red card and this was how Rayo lost it all, by playing with 10 men, giving Girona the higher advantage of winning the match. It was after the red card that Rayo was displaced by Girona, and Savio scored two goals in the extra time of stoppage time with two brilliant goals to seal up the match 3-0 on clean sheet. Girona is now back to the second position on the league while Barca goes down to third position.
