Tuchel couldn't have the good performance they were expecting to see from him and he couldn't get good results in Bayern Munich during the time when he was working there, they hired him because his good performance in the Chmpanios league to help Bayern Munich win that title but they are even losing the Bundesliga title in this season.
But I think Tuchel was not really sure about leaving the team and he wanted to stay there even with the bad performance he had but he still had the hope, because, in the interview with ZDF, he said he is still working in Bayern Munich and everything was going well.

Things are clearly going against him with most chances if he fails to bring any good success he will be going to lose his job with now too many options available for the Bayern Munich because we have too many coaches are leaving at the end of this season, and they can bring any quality coach for the next season with they need to win trophies as they have all sources for this as well.
