Today, I sat amongst a group of people and listened to them as they shared a story that indirectly reflects how terrible the spate of gambling addiction is. It became evident to me that this addiction transcends demographics such as age, marital status, ethnicity, and religious beliefs, but appears to be more prevalent among males.
Yes, gambling knows no boundaries, we might be sitting in our room with the laptop or desktop and browsing the forum. But on the other side of the globe, there could be someone who's falling for gambling and becoming addicted to it. So it's really very hard for everyone now, unless you are not introduce to gambling, but for those who have been playing almost all their lives, very hard to quit and there could be bout of we have recovered and then fall to gambling back again and then the cycle continues. Unless we really have that bad experience that we promised not just ourselves but our family as well that we are going to quit for good. And we can only hope that our children will not gamble and not repeat the same mistakes that we did when we are young.
