I think Roma are quite likely to be eliminated from the Europa League quite early. Because Brighton are a really challenging opponent for them. You know how good Brighton were in the group stage as well. They have a squad including quite talented players. I must admit the drop in their form in the Premier League recently but they are still a big threat to Roma.

Brighton is not overly better than Roma. I agree that Brighton is slightly in better form but that doesn't mean Roma doesn't have a chance. Roma have been better under the management of De Rossi.
Brighton also concede a lot of goals like Roma so Brighton don't have too much of an advantage there.
The way I see it, both teams have a very big chance of qualifying. I might go against popular picks and take Roma to win.
Of course, AS Roma must get a goal in the next match because this is a decisive match, namely the aggregate result of the two clubs, and AS Roma will also have an advantage in their first match playing at home, at least they can take advantage of the memory when playing at home, even though Brighton is not a strong opponent. weak, at least De Rossi is able to enable his squad to win the match, at least to avoid a draw because it would be fatal if the draw occurred in the round of 16 of Leg 1.

In the Europa League, mentality is also very influential because this is a European competition where each match has a different tension compared to the domestic league.
If you look at the strengths, Brighton and Roma don't have much difference, but I can see that Brighton is not a team that has a strong mentality on the European stage, in contrast to Roma.
That's the only thing that differentiates the two teams.
All clubs participating in the Europa League have ensured that all clubs are ready, whatever the results of the lottery drawn by the Europa League organizers, so all decisions must be made by all the clubs playing.

Talking about the AS Roma vs Brighton match, these two clubs are very, very comparable, but Brighton seems to be superior to AS Roma, even though the match will be played at AS Roma's home ground, at least AS Roma will be able to win this important match to make the second leg smoother when they play at home Brighton.
