In the end, Monaco returned to winning ways after being defeated last week by Toulouse at Monaco. in the match against Lens, Monaco was able to beat the hosts with a score of 2-3. now Monaco has shifted the ranking previously occupied by Nice, and Adolf Hutter's squad is only 2 points behind Brest. meanwhile, Lens remains in 6th place in the standings. next week, Monaco will host a match against PSG. and it seems, it will not be an easy match for Adolf Hutter's team even though they are playing at their own headquarters. however, Monaco can go all out in this week's match, because PSG will be more focused on the Champions League match in the second leg at Real Sociedad headquarters. It could be that Enrique will make several rotations of his players to save the energy of his team's squad for later.

If Manaco is able to take advantage of the match against PSG and get full points, Brest's position could be disrupted if they only produce a draw, let alone lose. what is certain is that Adolf Hutter will do his best for his team's squad to bring his team to finish in 2nd place in the Lique 1 standings.
meanwhile, Nice and Brest, I think their ranking will gradually fall. moreover, Lille is currently trying to occupy the ranking occupied by Nice. well, at least the competition in Ligue 1 is quite exciting in the fight for 2nd place to get Champions League tickets.
Monaco claimed a smashing 2-3 victory on the road at RC Lens to claim a much-needed all three points and this keeps them comfortable in their run for a UCL spot. Meanwhile to Lens disadvantage, the loss of points Widen the gap for Lens to be able to catch up and get UCL spot. Now Lens must have to up their game and improve their style of play so as not to let a repetition of this kind of loss occur again. Let’s take a look at how Monaco secured their victory over Lens because I guess that’s the main talking point here.

In a match full of turning points, Monaco did just enough to prevail, with Takumi Minamino’s outstanding late blast securing the victory in superb style and this kind of victory was one that was fun to watch as every minute of the match had both club fans on their toes and in huge suspense. Minamino made a point and had his name on the mouth of both fans after this match because of the efforts he put up from the first to the last. He was even involved in the penalty that paved way for the club’s second goal. Well the coach was also apt and on point with his selections as they proved to be worthy of the line ups as they all delivered excellently well in their various positions. Going forward, I think they’re now well placed in over throwing Brest who are sitted 2nd.

Brest will have some thrilling fixtures with the likes of Lens and Lillle and not getting maximum points in any of these could see Monaco cruising to 2nd place. I think this win against Lens is a big boost for them as they head to face and host the league leaders PSG. After seeing this performance, I can see they will be able to contain PSG and hold them to a safe draw and this will mount pressure on Brest because Lille aren’t going to take it easy as they’re struggling to overthrow Nice too. Well these kind of competition is what we enjoy and would hope to see it even grow fierce and have them challenge PSG for the championship next season.
