In my opinion you have to keep a balance between long term investments and smart short time investments that leads to profits. It all depends on the project type whether it's investable for the long term or a short term for profits.
Some projects might be out of trend but mostly we can have a ideas whether it's a long term investable project or a short term.Market research is very important and following the trends is also very necessary you need to have bulls eye to get profits in crypto because you never know what the market is up to in next minutes.
This quite right cause our decision can influence our investment, knowing the right choice for each project is accurate and sometimes it's possible for a short term investment to bring profit but we don't just want to make research about a project, people just decide to invest without a research so how will you know the right project for long or short term investment. Aside from bitcoin and Ethereum I can't judge a project if the project will bring profit within a short or long range, if referring to profit making I believe long term project are the best.
