OP, I do like your post and would like to point out: Is it good for a forum to require "The power of consistency, patience and perseverance?" What if people just want a friendly place to get started with BTC, where do they go?
Of course bitcoinTalk is the right place for you to get started on your Bitcoin journey but being a member of any forum, you must apply a process always, "give and take" or as a newbie let's say, "take and give" you go through the forum as there are a lot of interesting threads, take as much knowledge as you can about Bitcoin and it's potentials then give back to the forum by passing on knowledge and sharing your experiences with newbies after you and users before you. Patience, perseverance and consistency are essential qualities for a successful forum, bitcoinTalk is a friendly place for you to get started regardless of the criticism we (newbies) get once in a while.
