Manchester City are stronger and are a favorite team to win but Manchester United have good players. They are not as strong as Manchester City, lack of stability but in a single match, they already shown that they can beat big clubs in Premier League. With Manchester United and their instability, it's hard to predict their performance in big matches. Sometimes they do good, win in surprise of all but other times they play very poorly and got big defeats surprisingly too.

I'm not really sure Manchester United can beat Manchester City in that match because currently there are many Manchester United players who are injured. The Manchester derby is always a big match in the Premier League because it talks about prestige and now Manchester City's dominance is much more convincing to win. I am pessimistic about the quality and appearance of Manchester United now because they are playing unstable and even losing to teams that are much easier to beat.
Manchester City will play much better because they will not let Liverpool comfortably be at the top of the standings and the Manchester Derby is also a proving ground. I think Erik Ten Hak can only target a draw and even that will be very difficult to do amidst Manchester City's increasingly improving quality.
