This have not yet faced a storm of injuries within the team and I am quite sure that when several key players suffer injuries it will again affect Girona's performance. The difference in quality and depth of their squads is different enough to mean that the competition will not last until the end of the season. Girona played well at the start of the season before suffering consecutive defeats and now other teams see Girona's weaknesses as a step to break their dominance. Real Madrid clearly has different qualities in La Liga because they have great players and are so mature.

Now the competition between Girona and Barcelona is increasingly felt where the difference in points between the two is getting closer and if Girona loses again, Barcelona will chase them. The next few games won't be too difficult because Girona will face much easier teams and they should be able to get another win.
