Democracy is not the solution to the problem of Nigeria. Nigerians don't care about who rules them or how long these leaders stay in power what they simply want is good governance. Most countries in Africa practice democratic government where the citizens vote for their leaders but these voters become disappointed because of corruption. African politicians are heartless criminals who derive joy from seeing people suffer and die in poverty. Libya under Muammar Ghadaffi had one of the best economies in the world but it was not a true democratic nation. The late leader of the North African country ensured that the citizens of the country enjoyed good living conditions. Nigerians will enjoy the rich natural resources they are blessed with only if they can force these corrupt but powerful politicians out of power and conduct free and fair elections. And it can happen through revolution until the citizens engage in fearless protests, nothing good will come out of the acclaimed giant of Africa.
