Some preliminary field-testing:

Both Bitcoin Core and Electrum do indeed accept the address format, at least on testnet, and it was possible to make a transaction to said address and get it verified this tx.

If it's spendable by anyone, take it! I'll try and take it back with a few different approaches too.
