We certainly know how Manchester City was built since the arrival of the Arab owners and since then this team has started to win various major titles over the seasons. They do all this because they have large funding to get great players and at the same time they can be processed as trophy-making machines. However, it was only last season that Manchester City was able to win the most coveted title, namely the Champions League, and everyone was questioning their chances of winning back to back titles this season.
From me, the opportunity is still there even though we know that the challenge for Manchester City will be more difficult than before because the big European teams will try to take this title from them this season. Maybe Pep Guardiola should be aware that this competition will be even fiercer than before and therefore he needs to provide different tactics and strategies that will be difficult for his opponents to read later. I believe they will still be able to win it because in terms of squad depth they are still using the same squad.
It takes quite a long process to build a team to be able to excel on the European stage, not just quality but building a strong team mentality is not an easy thing and Manchester City have gone through all of this process so that they managed to win the Champions League last season.
Being able to win it again this season is not easy, Real Madrid is the only team capable of winning the Champions League back to back.
If we talk about the opportunity, of course there is still a very big chance for Manchester City to win the Champions League again this season because Manchester City has everything, consistency, performance and mentality, but it is not an easy thing and I think the percentage is a little smaller.
