Athletic Bilbao did much more than I expected from them. They simply destroyed Atletico Madrid by 3-0 home as well.  Smiley  But I can't say they didn't deserve because Atletico Madrid were really not good enough in both games.  Sad  Having an important player missing like Griezmann also made a bad impact on their performance last night.

Now the name of the finale in the Copa del Rey is Athletic Bilbao - Mallorca. This is going to be a really unexpected kind of finale. As far as I know Mallorca won the cup once many years ago but I don't remember any when it comes to Athletic Bilbao. I hope Athletic Bilbao manage to be champions.
I am not surprised by this result, Atletico Madrid has not been consistent throughout this season, so that when they meet a comparable opponent, the Atletico Madrid team is unable to develop its performance.

I admit that Athletic Bilbao this season has been quite extraordinary and their success in getting to the final is quite natural, now I think they will be quite close to the trophy this season.
The season's inconsistency for Atletico Madrid made their loss to Athletic Bilbao unsurprising. Im most impressed by Bilbao's trip to the final, especially their aggregate win over Atletico. This performance gives them a chance against Mallorca in the final. I think they're ready for the final test since they exploited Atletico's weaknesses.

I've enjoyed Bilbao's tactical prowess and energetic play. Destroying Atletico Madrid was a statement and a win. I think Bilbao is in good shape to face Mallorca, a relegation scrapper. Resilience and strategic depth indicate they're not only in the final, but trying to win it. Athletic Bilbao is unpredictable but exciting, showing that underdogs can dream big with the correct plan and commitment.
