Drained the water and pulled out the paper...I was able to read all the QR codes

That's the idea behind the BIP38 and the password was randomly punched on the keyboard!
I did the same thing back in 2017 with my online version of the very first stamp and it was loaded with 0.02 BTC and its still loaded as well.
