Well, in those days Chelsea was even one of the clubs that every opponent feared. The peak was when Chelsea managed to win the Champions League title with Tuchel. But after the change in club ownership, everything changed. And yeah now I miss the times when Chelsea weren't this weak. In the past, they always mixed senior players with young players with a balanced composition. Like what Real Madrid did in Laliga. But we can see now that Chelsea has a different way. They even continue to loan Lukaku. Even though I think this player is still very worthy of being kept. And he can be an example for young players on the front lines.

As many people have said here and on social media, Todd is indeed a skilled businessman, but it seems like he doesn't have enough experience in building a football club. But somehow I'm starting to feel that next season Chelsea will improve. But that's just my feeling. Statistically, it's actually still quite difficult.
With the depth of the current squad, I think it will take several seasons to see Chelsea return to being a team challenging for the Premier League title. Not to be pessimistic about Chelsea development next season, but the fact is that is true. Chelsea management failed to see the potential in senior players, took big risks when investing in young players, and let go of players who were still very worthy of being kept, such as Lukaku and Ziyech. Not all managers can polish young players developing quickly, and Pochettino seems to have failed as Chelsea manager this season.

The hurricane of injuries experienced by Chelsea is another reason why Pochettino always fails to create consistency, and I predict that it is very likely that they will only be able to finish in the top 10 of the standings. Maybe that can be called development too, because last season Chelsea finished in 12th place. Todd Boehly seems to often experience losses in doing business in the football industry, unlike Abramovich who succeeded in building Chelsea to success. If Chelsea don't update the way they recruit players, it wouldn't be surprising if their performance would be the same next season.
