Sure, gambling can be exciting for a lot of folks. Including me. The chance of winning gives a rush. But we always gotta think - is the fun worth the harm it can cause? Gambling ain't a game like football with cheering crowds and it can hurt people badly, financially and psychologically. If you are not ready for that, you can always find safer ways to get your joy that don't put everything at stake.
I can say that all can be worth the fun as long as you keep everything in minimum. I mean with minimum money to allocate and a minimum of time to spend in a casino or an online casino. This is my own definition of having fun in gambling, other than that, if a person tends to break his own limits, I can call it a serious gambling hobby, not an addiction yet because everything has a process before reaching such level of gambling involvement.
And yeah, the excitement and fun always comes on whether or not you're gonna win your bet. The higher the stake the higher the excitement for sure and of course the higher the risk of losing more money. Losing ain't fun though.
I think most people who tends to gamble excessively are "ready" to take the risk of losing everything they have, but most of them aren't ready on what's going to happen after everything is done and when they're back with their families or normal lives. It's not gonna be a surprise if we hear the word "gambling" coming out from the mouth of the homeless.
