I guess at the end of the season we will see Barcelona in second place in the table. The way GIrona lost their truck badly, they won't be able to hold on to second place in the table for long.
I do agree that Barcelona may get that second position, and Girona being third is not really bad for them. Imagine being a team that people saw you as top half at best, like 10th would be normal and if you finished 6th that would be great and you end up being third in that league.
I think while it is a sad thing to lose out on the title chances, which they had just a month or so ago, becoming a team that is third could feel bad, but we are also talking about a team who overachieved all their expectations. This is why I believe that we are going to end up with something that will take a while before people could see anything crazy, we should just consider the situation to be strong and not really have any issues at all.
