The fight for the top four position has become very tight because some teams have improved after the sack of coaches. Roma and Napoli fall in this category, since after the sack of Jose Mourinho and Walter Mazzarri. Francesco Calzona and Daniele De Rossi are gradually changing the fortunes of these teams. I just hope they maintain this good performance.
For Roma I think they can do it but for Napoli they won't be able to do it until the end of the season. Napoli still have to improve their overall performance and even though they have just won against Juventus, this cannot be a strong guarantee for them to continue to progress with consistent wins.
And it seems that Roma will also experience greater difficulties in taking over Bologna's position. Because, in the remaining matches until the end, Roma had several tougher matches. However, the one of keys will be in the match between Roma and Bologna on April. This is also one of the matches that is quite stressful and deciding. Luckily, Roma is currently in quite an on fire condition, so hopefully, that they can be even stronger in every match, whether against small, medium or top clubs. Because they still have to face Napoli and Juventus as well as teams like Atalanta and Lazio too.
In fact, if they win this match, Napoli will be good to go even higher and they will be behind Rome. Then there will be Inter matches. Napoli needs to be very concentrated in this part of the season.
There is no denying that Napoli's recent performance has improved a lot, in fact they were able to beat Juventus. So, this does prove that there has been quite a significant improvement for Napoli under Calzona. However, this is enough time for them to get up and enter the top 4. Because there are quite a lot of points and they have to keep fighting. It would be very dramatic and satisfying if they could advance to 4th place. However, we'll see how they achieve. Currently, they are focusing on facing their opponents who are quite strong in the UCL.
