I agree with the table display above where the big 4 strong candidates include Manchester City, Bayern, Madrid and Arsenal. Well, for Arsenal, I will not underestimate them this season, who have made slight improvements in a positive direction. But because in Leg 1 they were behind against Porto, in Leg 2 they will carry a heavy burden. If they succeed in turning things around, perhaps what I hope will materialize as part of the strong candidates this season joining Manchester City, Bayern and Madrid. We also still have Inter and PSG both as unexpected options because they are both strong and experiencing positive trends this season.
Actually I partially agree with the first top five teams, but I don't actually think arsenal is better than inter Milan, so in my opinion, inter Milan should had been ahead of them, and of a truth, this arsenal team is quite good, but we need to understand that experience is an important player after quality in a competition like this, and Arsenal we all know have that tendency of not being reliable in major competition especially in the champions league and I don't really sees them going as far as the semi final stage of this competition, because experience is very important, and that is what this particular arsenal team lack.
It looks like I would also rule out Arsenal and replace them with Inter in 4th place and then PSG in 5th place. There is no harm in letting Arsenal fill position 6 with its performance so far and it does not rule out the possibility of providing different competition. It all depends on how determined a team like Arsenal is to make history.
The 4 big teams are waiting in the quarter-finals, one of them, like Barcelona and Napoli, who played to a draw, had to use all their energy in Leg 2. Inter clearly had to bet harder at home to Atletico Madrid because this was a difficult task to come out with 3 points. Dortmund vs PSV, maybe 50:50, is not the candidate you expect to be in the semifinals.
