Looks like we may possibly have a preview of the NBA Finals tonight as the Denver Nuggets face off against the Boston Celtics on national TV. Luckily this one will be on TNT so we can have a chance to watch. Sure, Denver is number 3 in the west right now, but they’re the defending champs. Denver hasn’t been playing great lately though, so I think Boston might take this one.
Yeah, TNT. I will definitely watch this later.
They are okay, it's the defense that is lacking and the bench power. Then in their past games, it was Michael Porter Jr. that is missing in action, but now he is back to his own self again. Last time he made 10/10 field goals against the Lakers and in the game against the Suns he scored 20 points. He is getting there, getting the confidence back after being criticized as an inconsistent player. Those back surgeries did affect him pretty much.
And in their battle against the Suns, the Nuggets somehow found a way to get back from a 22 point lead deficit. That's big, although they ended up losing in overtime.
They need Jokic to start hot, either in making an assist or in dominating the paint. Jamal Murray is playing like playoff Murray again so the Nuggets just need more of the push in defense so they can get stops. Also, the bench should step up their game like what Peyton Watson is doing on the defensive end averaging 1 block per game.
This will be fun to watch. Who will D Jokic? I am betting for his props here.
