For Girona, winning the ticket Champions League is one of the most important things at the moment, regardless of where they will finish when the season ends. Girona gradual decline in performance made Barcelona lucky, because Xavi had the opportunity to bring his squad to finish in runner-up position. On paper, the Barcelona versus Mallorca match is fairly easy to guess, clearly Barcelona has a much higher chance of securing full points.

On the other hand, the Girona versus Osasuna match is also fairly easy to predict, Girona will most likely also be able to secure full points. In the last meeting, Girona managed to beat Osasuna 4-2. Acting as host will help Michel squad start to regain consistency, because in the last five matches Girona has lost a lot of points and was only able to win one match.
Not only is it important, it is a target they must achieve at the end of the season after Girona had a fantastic season this season. Míchel knows that winning the La Liga title is the most difficult thing for him and his team, but if they are able to maintain the consistency of their team's performance then Champions League tickets can still be hoped for.

About the title, Real Madrid is the team that will win it because they have collected a lot of points compared to Girona, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. There are not many threats for Real Madrid after they lead 8 points above Barcelona and 7 points above Girona, meaning that Real Madrid is quite comfortable with the points gap.
Girona I must say have been impressive this season especially in the Spanish La Liga campaign and even if they didn't succeed to win the Spanish La Liga title at the end of the season, we mustn't shy away from the fact that very little number of people would've predicted that they'll finish this season in the top four of the Spanish La Liga table. Their impressive performance this season have been the most surprising happening of the season and I'm very optimistic that they'll surely finish the season in the top four of the season but might not be allowed to participate in the UEFA Champions League competition next and I want to say something that I think some of us in this forum are completely unaware of and that is one of the rules of qualifying to play in the UEFA Champions League competition.

One of the rules of the UEFA Champions League competition is that two teams of the same owner can't be allowed to participate in the competition and as we all know, Manchester City owners are also the co-owners of Girona and has the highest stake in the club so if Manchester City finishes in the top four of the English Premier League table at the end of the season while Girona does same in the Spanish La Liga table, one of the is certainly not going to play in the competition and because Manchester City has a better ranking in the UEFA rankings, they'll play in the competition ahead of Girona
