No. The method of upload has no bearing whatsoever on copyrights. What is important is that the owner of any copyrighted material has a way to remove it with a DMCA request.

As far as I know, one shouldn't respond to DMCA. I mean, if someone receives email from them, you shouldn't reply to their email or send any other email. Just take any material like it's nothing. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong but I know one has to be careful with DMCA complains.
By the way, today I was digging into satoshi's posts and noticed this thread:
Idea for file hosting and proxy services. If satoshi is alive, he must be proud of you for creating a TalkImg. Your product is different but still would make him happy, I bet.
