What is happening with Atletico Madrid?
I write right now in the Champions League thread about them, because i was having high hopes of seeing them winning against Inter Milan, but man they are playing horrible right now. And they are not longer so effective in defense like in the past, seems like they are suffering so much for not having Griezman in the starter 11.
Maybe because of depression due to failing to qualify for the Copa Del Rey final, they lost their passion for the game.
Atletico still has a chance to turn things around in the second leg of the UCL because they only lost by a narrow score in the first leg, but with their performance still fluctuating like this, it is very difficult to beat Inter who are performing optimally. After seeing the way they played when they were beaten by Cadiz, I was starting to be skeptical that Atletico would be able to make a comeback in the second leg of the UCL. If a team like Cadiz is able to score two goals against Atletico, it will be even easier for Inter Milan to knock Atletico out of the UCL.
