What is happening with Atletico Madrid?
I write right now in the Champions League thread about them, because i was having high hopes of seeing them winning against Inter Milan, but man they are playing horrible right now. And they are not longer so effective in defense like in the past, seems like they are suffering so much for not having Griezman in the starter 11.
They have been really messy lately, only getting a draw against Almeria and losing to Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey, currently they're 1 goal behind even though time is running out. I don't think we can expect much for their second leg in the UCL, how can they beat Inter if they just play against Cadiz, they can fall behind and haven't even been able to score a goal until now.
However, usually teams like this will get very different results for the matches that will be played in the Champions League later. Because after all, Atletico's position has also lost 1-0 on aggregate and perhaps, Atletico is really preparing for the second leg later. But indeed, losing in this match against Cadiz with a score of 2-0 is completely unacceptable result. Because, for example, if Atletico is preparing for the second leg against Inter, atleast Atletico can still hold Cadiz to a draw.
